Ground Consolidation Using Injection Lances
 | In course of a site visit to a partnering company, the option of stabilization of a pertinent lose ground by means of an injection of synthetic resin has been proposed. The client gave his go ahead, after detailed description and planning of the injection process has been presented and discussed. The selected PU resin WEBAC PURseal M S was brought in using 2-component injection technique together with injection lances. The lances were spaced approximately 60 cm centre to centre along the foundations and reached to a depth of 3.5 m. |
As monitoring of the injection pressure is paramount during such process, a comprehensive testing regimen of the subsoil was put in place beforehand. After the completion of the intervention the ground was found to be sufficiently stabilized. Further settlements are no longer expected.
